Detail Distance Quality Settings

Question

How do i change the terrain detail distance(for grass) in Edit>Project Settings>Quality.

 

Example:

On fastest Detail Distance 35, on Beautifull 250!

FindObjectOfType(typeof(Terrain)) to get all terrains in scene.

 

Loop through the terrain and set the detail distance to a static float variable.

Or do it that way, if there is only one terrain in the scene, since it's far more efficient.

 

And I forgot that you are using the presets, and not a fully fledged quality manager.

 

I would check the quality level (which I think returns an integer?) and then set the activeTerrain detail distance to a certain value.
