It actually does save the screenshot. I would rather add this function to a "static" class, and call it from the player script when pressing F10 or some other key. I don't really like DontDestroyOnLoad for situations like these.

It saves it in your game directory so for example: It would save in Yourgame_Data

It also saves screen shots in the unity3d engine when testing in "Your game Assets folder"

If in standalone, it will be in your game_data folder, if in editor, it will be in the assets folder
