Whats up with the Bursts?

Question

I put in an M16 and since it is 3-shot burst, I saw the burst option and made it 3 bullets, etc. I go ingame... the burst is timed :-\ why? shouldn't it be everytime you click the fire button (Left Mosue Button) I just find it odd that it is based on time. I figured that I could change the fire rate and I would be able to just simply press the button because it wouldn't matter the fire rate if I would be to just pull the trigger in real life. sadly I was wrong, the fire rate is on a timer aswell :-O so I can't make it like the normal M16 Burst rifle :( unless anyone knows how to fix this :d

burst is fully customizable, and you can adjust everything in Inspector:

1. Delay after every round (for example 3 bullets per round)

2. Delay after every fired bullet.

3. Bullets per round (1, 2, 3 or more)

Explain me one more time, how this event must behave because i didn't understood what exactly is wrong?

P.S Please, describe everything in this event:

for example :

1. I press fire button (or i hold it down?) to make a shot

2. what must now happen?...

1. I hold the fire button and it shoots 3 bursts and then while im still holding the fire button it shoots the bursts again

2. when I hold it, it should only shoot 1 burst and you can only shoot the burst if you let go and press the fire button again

You know difference between "Input.GetButtonDown" and "Input.GetButton"? Because it is all you need to know to fix that.

I found a problem, its not big but still. when I hold shoot the crosshair is big (meaning less accuracy) and it is like that for a couple of shots, it also happens if I click repetitively. is it also possible to make it that when you shoot there is a delay before being able to fire again?
