Inventory System C#

Recommended Posts

Since it is a quite old topic, i really can't remember the logic of the system (more over it was my first attempt).

So i decide to create a new one, much more advanced.

I will create a new post and i will give the link here.

Please help... The gui is not appearing. I can press 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 and 8 and it would say <ITEM> Selected! But the buttons don't appear.

Do I need pro for this to work? If so can you please give a script without the custom gui?

Before you flail your arm wildly as you drown, first. Look at the console window when your game runs, is there an error (red lines of text)? if so, copy your log and paste it here with a detailed explanation of your problem. For one, did you attach the script to a gameobject in the scene? Two, did you assign all the variables on the script? Else, reply with more information to help the developer/author understand your problem.

It does not require pro. Which version of unity are you using? Give us more details buddy otherwise we don't know what your issue is.

Hey dude, I've been trying to SetActive a gameobject thats tagged under my FPSController but it wont work, like how do you make the objects appear on screen when you select the item from your inventory slot?

speaking of picking up objects, it works and all its says the item is selected, but could you share some code on how we could hold the items in our hands, like i tried everything, I know about the gameObject.SetActive(true); but could you share where I should put the code to hold items. thanks.
