Zooming with a magnify glass?

Question

hey, i'm looking for a way to zoom with magnify glass for my sniper.

can anybody help me about this? (no gui!)

...sorry for my bad english :s

If you are using the Fpskit, then you can go to the Sniper inside weaponmanager and set the FOV to 1 or 2.

If you arent using FPSkit, i found this script for you on the unity forums which with you can do the zooming stuff.

thanks but this isn't enough! namely i can use this with and other scope camera for renderTexture. maybe this way is true but if i use this renderTexture with someting, we have shadows :S no cast shadows and use shadows false: ambient light shadows. maybe you can understand me :)

Bro i know your trying, and i respect you bigtime for trying to use english, but maybe i dont quite understand you.

Once again im not offending you, just saying i might have messed up.

You have a texture, and it wont work with this?

Maybe a pro-er guy then me could understand.

Though if i got you right, in weapon camera i think theres a camera script there and you can tweak settings there.
