SG 553 texturing

Hey guys, first time posting here. I wanted to share with you some shizz I'm currently working on. I've already modeled, uved ad baked this weapons, and I am currently texturing it.

I hope you like it !

Note: this isn't for a public release, just showcasing my work.

Hey man, thanks for the feedback. This issue you're pointing isn't caused by the bake itself, it's the amount of poly i put here which was too low causing those artefacts. I am not planning on adding more polys here for two reasons, first is because in first person view the bottom of the grip isn't visible, and second because textures fix this issue. Thanks for pointing it though

Hey, the issue nika was pointing is that the indent which is supposed to smoothly wrap around the grip as in the high poly, wraps in pretty weird way with some visible angles. It's pretty hard to explain with text, but if you compare this part on the high and on the low poly, you'll probably see what the problem is. Also, completely off topic, but aren't you experienced with shaders ? I think I saw you in the Shader discussion thing on this website... If you are, and if you want to, can you send me a PM ? I'd like someone to teach me one or two things with them :3

Never use a black background when taking images of something, really hurts the look of the model when people do that :(
