score text increase animation, idk how to call it

Question

hey guys, u know when u play a game and in the end level u get table (or when u lose, flappy bird as example) and score being calculated, from score : 0 to score : 100 for example.  it could be done with mathf.lerp but somewhy third value of time is glichy to my.

You could try something like this

ShowScore = 0

PlayerScore = 100

if showscore < playerscore

Showscore += (int)(1.0f * Time.deltaTime)

its working, bud bad thing is that score calculates is not smooth somewhy :( is there some official way :d im using js but can convert code to cs if nesseseary

You could just

var score : float = 0;

var finalScore : float = 100;

var displayText : String;

function Update()

{

if(score != finalScore) score = Mathf.MoveTowards(score, finalScore, Time.deltaTime);

displayText = score.ToString("n0");

}
