Unity 5 Mirror Reflection?

Question

Playing around with Unity 5 and loving it so far! Anyone know how to get reflective floors working? Very vague, but there is no info about this online yet!

reflection probes are the way to go, and you need a standard material that is reflective (based on spec map or sliders)

My issue isnt getting the reflections setup, it is setting them up to work like a mirror and reflect the exact surroundings, like a mirror. Obviously as its going to be floor tiles I don't want 100% reflection etc.

Just use a water shader and remove (or keep) the distortion, then add transparency to it to preserve details underneath. That's what I ended up doing and got pretty decent results.

I agree it should, and I feel I'm just doing it wrong, we'll see as more tutorials and guides go up over the next few days

Mark your scene objects as static so they'll be in reflections
