  1. UPDATE 2 RELEASED, THANK YOU GUYS. CHANGELOG -4 New weapons(Taurus .889, UMP-45,RPG-7, SCAR-L) -UI -Simple AI -Blood Screen -Viewpunch(shake when there's recoil) -Post Process. About This is an FPS game(With no particular name) that i have been working like a month. Everything you see here is completely made from scratch(Except for crosshair and zombie model) by a guy which is 12 y/o. Using blender, Gimp. It started as a low poly fps at first. Yes, the models and textures aren't really good, even the animations are bad. What do you think? Feedback is appreciated.   3. If you remember my first zombies game made with the kit was basically crappy version of call of duty zombies, well now I have made it slightly more fun in my opinion. There are currently only 2 maps, the original Nazi base map which has a new room, new weapons and no longer has the broken mystery box. Some aspects of the map were changed for the purpose of flow and a few glitches were patched as well as new features like auto reload and a low ammo warning. I also added engrams that can drop random weapons from the zombies when you kill them basically like destiny. I also added a few weapons from destiny that you can get as well as a few other weapons from world war 2. Also added in a new perk in the new room. The bosses have a better and higher engram drop rate. The other map is a mixture of borderlands and some destiny aspects, mostly out in the open and only 1 perk in that map. the enemies are not Germans in this map they are borderlands style enemies. also has destiny weapons and the ww2 weapons and boss rounds. but in this map the only way to get new guns is through engrams. So, within the last week a lot of stuff has happened (I got expelled from school for possesion of hydrocodone cough syrup, which is kinda crazy and hasn't fully sunk in- I lost my IB status and have to go to remedial school with no AP or honors classes... Fun). In order to gather myself back up, I wrote this little app in about 3 days (I published it on Google Play the 3rd, I think). I've been pushing out updates ever since. It's not very innovative, but it's kinda cute and is free. I'm also testing out UnityAds with it for revenue. I have to say, on Windows Phone and Amazon my apps have gotten more attention. Then again, they also take a week to process an update, and Google takes 3 hours lmao. Play Store Link Screenshots: I was also wondering if anyone knew any cheap ways of advertising, or getting word out. The app curently only has 4 downloads, even with it being free and kinda "Mass Appeal" (blocky zombie FPS cliche). I've used facebook ads before, which I guess work fine, but aren't very cheap.   7. I'm Michco, from USA, and not new to making unity games, but new to this group. The last game I made was 2012, called THE WAREHOUSE, with a little botbot you control. Dec 26, 2014, I have decided to get back into making a Unity 3D game (well one to start). I have been hard at work designing and coding a simple ZOMBIE game. Heres a vid demo I posted Jan 2/15 https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCnUUCdb3tPY7EqETGP4B33w First Person Shooter, SLOW zombies, maybe 4 weapons and health pickups, doors that open, and making it SCARY, like slender man frightening. Once I make the basic game I'd invite others to submit a game map, to be used as one level in the game. I could put some difficulty settings (easy, med, hard). Rather than just mindless killing, I want to tell a SIMPLE story, and you have to complete one map to get to the next level. My SKILLS: i'm good at .js programming, I use Maya modelling (love low poly models) and love to design game maps. I am posting this to see if anyone with good skills wants to pitch in with models, or design a level. PS. I wanted to attach picture but it only says to add a URL ? Anyways, good to be here. So I can't find any solutions on this and would like to know, i'll be working on and implementing the multiplayer mode into my zombie game soon, and would like to know how exactly is it that this is achieved. Do I need to edit the script or is it something els? I have zero experience when it comes to multiplayer and etc. so some advice would be nice, thanks.

  10. Basically for my open world survival game, I have a huge map and a big open world... my only problem is I have the zombies all ready and everything, AI is great. I just need a way to spawn them randomly all over the open world. I don't really care how hard it'd be to do, I just want some suggestions on the best way ( with as little lag as possible ) to spawn them around the world. Should I have it spawn a random amount then stop for a certain time? Will I have to drag game objects and spawn points all over the world? What do you guys think? Anything is helpful. Thanks!

  14. ALIVE FOR TODAY OPEN-WORLD SURVIVAL MMOFPS PC, MAC, LINUX, WEBPLAYER Alive For Today, is a post-apocalyptic open-world survival MMO. The main location will be set in a a desert with very little supplies and even less water. Survival is the main feature of this game, we aim to be as realistic as possible. We plan to introduce multiple locations, with varying weather and climate systems including the arctic mountains of Alaska, the tropical jungles of Brazil, the deserted plains of Ireland, and many more. Our goal is to produce a high-quality terrain that measures a total of 2000x2000 kilometers. This will give us enough room to introduce vehicles including Helicopters, Cars, Trucks, ATV's and more but it will also allow us to bring mounts into the game such as Horses and more. All of our terrain is created using World Machine 2.3, TerrainComposer and WorldComposer. We will be using multiple environment packs created by Manufactura K4, which can be found on the Unity asset store. A wide variety of weapons including melee, assault, and more will be introduced to the game as well. Our server stretch goal will be successfully handling up to 300 players at a time per server. PVP will be a huge, core feature of this game and it can drastically change the way the game is played. Originally we were going to develop Alive For Today in the United States, set in Washington State because of it's dense forest, and heavy precipitation. Zombie were going to be the main antagonist in the game but we have decided to pull them from the goal, well not completely. After of lot of thinking, I decided to leave zombies in the game as an option for server owners. They can enable zombies, and disable them. Each time you change this however it requires a server restart (As an attempt to stop future trolling).   15. So what I was wondering was how exactly would you be able to make the score add up, by a certain number in the fps kit. I mean once you kill the zombie/beast or something it adds to your score. If someone help me with this, it'd be appreciated.
  16. Im making a game using the fps kit 1.3.5 and I saw this thing called nav mesh for npc navigation in unity. Is there any way I can use this to make the zombie AI avoid obstacles? Thanks

Hey guys, i'm working on a wave spawn script for the zombie kit, but i just can't really get it to work, I'm just in to scripting and learned all the basics, i have some pretty good scripts already,, but this one is just getting on my nerves. All i need in this script is when all the zombies are spawned, it restarts the process and multiply's the amount of zombies for the new wave. All the other stuff on the scrtipt can i do myself, but i just need some help with the spawning process. Oh and when anyone starts about the: Invoke(''function'', waitBetweenWaves) stuff, i already tried it, and didn't work.   18. I want to set up path finding for the zombies in fps Kit 1.3.5 using Rain Indie but I cant figure out how to use Rain. Does anyone know how to use rain and set up path finding for the zombies?
  19. so far i have been using the recent fps kit from OMA and atm i want to be able to create barricades that zombies can would want to destroy but idk how to do this is there anything i can add to the zombie AI script (or a separate script attached to the zombies) that means that the zombies will attack anything (perhaps that is tagged barricade) and what would i have to write for the script to give the barricades health so that they take time to destroy and u can repair them (if they haven't been destroyed yet)? im still a bit noob-ish at programming...

  21. So I wanted to know if there's a way with Oma's fps kit (1.3.5) to instead of having the "Lock Cursor" script, if there's a way just to lock the cursor when the scene is loaded. But i'd like it to still work with the Mouse Look scripts, does anyone know how I might be able to make this?
  22. So i'm not amazing with coding. But i've been trying to get a Wave/Round Spawner for enemies. My Unity3D asset store is broken and I've been trying to fix it but it won't load.
