  2. Hello, i'm trying to make a RPG game with multiplayer, not so hard with what i can program so far. But what im really struggling about is Third Person controller Animator help, i dont want to use the default TPC (Third Person Controller) that comes with Unity Standard Assets. I want to create my own, by using the Male Locomotion pack from, then i search around on how to make a simple third person controller, and then there are a lot of good videos. But one problem is in every video, the problem is that i dont want to use the Walk_Turn or Run_Turn animations for turning while walking or running, i want to have a free camera so if i change my view to the right with right mouse button then the character will run or walk that direction. The camera of course follows the character behind. So this is what i really am asking help for : -Simple Animator with c# script -FreeCameraLook.cs script -Character walking the direction the camera is pointing (Can only run / walk on the X axis or Z axis, not up or down) Thanks in advance if someone find good tutorials and post them down in the comment section, and of course thanks a lot for those who try to help!
  3. In order to understand how networking works, and how communicating between computers, it is useful to learn the sequence of connecting to a server. It is convenient to use one server version of each scene in a Unity project and one client version of each scene. This is useful for when you want to separate the server and client applications from each other. Connecting client and server Network Views RPC Details State Synchronization Details Authoritative Server Leave a like if you found this useful!

  7. Hello! So yeah, this is going to be about my tutorial series on Youtube! Channel name: Xangotrick! After a few different cringe-worthy videos on completely unrelated themes, I decided to start a unity series designed for beginners. Kind of comes from the fact that I struggled to find the right resources at first, at the time where I was still learning everything. And this does seem to suit me! Since I seem to be able to sustain a bit, here I am posting here! So basically I just found this area made for tutorials and I thought, what the heck, why not post my tutorial series here! Playlist: Here it is, first episode: And first episode where we actually are producing something: It's really aimed at beginners though, so while the current series I am working on is loosely based on a 2D platformer, it's more aimed at making someone new to Unity and C# have some general base to evolve from. Once I'm done with that tutorial series, I probably will do more specific series. Thanks for reading! Good evening!

  9. Hello guys and welcome to another tutorial! In this tutorial we are going to create a ground behaviour system! Somebody (I don't know who it was, I'm sorry) asked for it, so here it is! The system includes: *speed depending on the surface *footstep sounds depending on the surface *(you need to add your own variables to the script, because this is just the basic and for each game it is different ) I know it is a quick tutorial, but because I think it is boring to watch somebody programming I'm going to explain everything! If you want to use the script I'm using you can pause the video and take a little bit longer, or you can like my fb page and ask for the script I hope you guys like it! Also if you got any questions, just ask in the comments!

  20. Well.. I was trying to add health regeneration to FPSKIT for a while without luck... Finnaly got it to work with the help of "Grifto" So here is how to do it In the variable section add var loop : boolean; Then replace the update function with function Update(){ if (time > 0){ time -= Time.deltaTime; } alpha = time; } if(hitPoints < maxHitPoints && !loop) { Regen(); } Then right down the bottom of the script add a new function. function Regen(){ loop = true; yield WaitForSeconds (1); hitPoints ++; loop = false; } Now You have health Regeneration at +1 health every second, Or You could change the yield WaitForSeconds (1); With someone More suitable for your game.. Hope you guys find this helpful Have fun!
