  1. NEW PACKAGE! This time is a small office which YOU can use in your game for free! NO CREDITS REQUIRED! Just download and import! Simple! Now, this scene is untextured because I thought you guys might like putting in your own theme on here. Yeah, some objects in this scene are infact UV Mapped, the ones that seem a bit complicated to do so, I took care of them. Now this is NOT game ready, this is just a scene which you can texture and put in your Game/Render! It is only 5.2k Polygons therefore the whole scene is pretty suitable for a game. Download! IMAGES:
  2. Hi everyone! It's been a while since I've posted...but here's a little something I was able to cook up in 2ish hours with the standard assets. I've never really had a big budget so I just wanted to show people that alot can be done with a little. Tell me what you think and I hope you all enjoy. I may give a download at some point if requested...but you all have standard assets .
  3. Version 1.0

    A free map for users to use to their needs in game design.
  4. |Cinematic Camera Shake| -Description: This is a perfect script if you are making a cutscene and you want to add a bit of "spice" , this will make your camera shake , you can modify it to make it fit in your cinematic. This can also be useful for earthquakes with the correct settings. -Useful Level : 7/10 (only useful for cinematics/cutscenes) --Script: using UnityEngine; using System.Collections; class Noise { Vector2 seed; float speed; public Noise(float speed) { this.seed = new Vector2(Random.value, Random.value); this.speed = speed; } public float Update() { seed += Vector2.one * speed * Time.deltaTime; return Mathf.PerlinNoise(seed.x, seed.y) * 2 - 1; } } public class CameraShake : MonoBehaviour { Transform myTransform; Vector3 initPos; public float bigRadius = 3.0f; public float bigSpeed = 0.5f; public float smallRadius = 0.5f; public float smallSpeed = 2.0f; Noise noiseBigX; Noise noiseBigY; Noise noiseSmallX; Noise noiseSmallY; void Start() { myTransform = this.transform; initPos = myTransform.position; noiseBigX = new Noise(bigSpeed); noiseBigY = new Noise(bigSpeed); noiseSmallX = new Noise(smallSpeed); noiseSmallY = new Noise(smallSpeed); } void Update() { myTransform.position = initPos + new Vector3(noiseBigX.Update() * bigRadius + noiseSmallX.Update() * smallRadius, noiseBigY.Update() * bigRadius + noiseSmallY.Update() * smallRadius, 0); } }
  5. These are just a few screenshots of a scene Im am working on,after Unity 5 was released i decided i would try make some scenes instead of trying to write code.This scene will have a 1000x1000 island,surrounded by water, with buildings,vegetation,rocks,particle systems and many other things.The player will be able (it is already able) to interact with the water (throw rocks in it and water will splash,or walk in it),to pick up/drag objects (rocks,crates and other small objects) and to interact with almost everything he can move,for example he needs to get to the other side but he cant because the water is too deep,so he drags the boat near him,and from here he will need to carefully drive it to the other side (hitting rocks will sink the boat).He will also be able to pick up and read notes (from a dead body for example),to light a fire,to destroy a crate and to build his own base.I know this sounds like a survival game,but it's not,I am going to release it for free for anyone who could use it.Note that most of the things will be based on physics.Here are a few screenshots of what I got so far (I haven't done alot because i was testing the scripts). https://www.dropbox.com/s/wqjm2fsi6ti0a91/Untitled.png?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/79h9bks2tshwxqq/Untitled2.png?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/p7iehebu60ld54t/Untitled3.png?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/v6qaltq1tjzk3ku/Untitled4.png?dl=0

    Loading Screen

    Hi guys ! I'm trying to make a loading screen but I have a problem ... The script works fine, no errors ... but when I play the game it restarts without stopping ... What is the problem ? Here is my script that I found over here : using UnityEngine; using System.Collections; [System.Serializable] public class AutoLoad { public bool autoLoad; public string LevelToLoad; } public class LoadingScreen : MonoBehaviour { private bool loading; public AutoLoad autoLoad; public AsyncOperation async; public float progress; public bool isDone; public Texture2D loadingBar; void Start() { DontDestroyOnLoad(transform.gameObject); if (autoLoad.autoLoad) StartCoroutine("LoadLevel", autoLoad.LevelToLoad); } void Update() { if (loading) { progress = async.progress * 100; isDone = async.isDone; } } IEnumerator LoadLevel(string levelname) { loading = true; async = Application.LoadLevelAsync(levelname); yield return async; Debug.Log("Done loading level named: " + levelname); loading = false; } void OnGUI() { if(loading){ GUI.DrawTexture(new Rect(Screen.width/2 + -500, Screen.height-30, progress * 10, 20), loadingBar, ScaleMode.StretchToFill, true, 0); } } }

    Detect File

    Hi Everyone I wsa hoping someone could help me with some script. What I would like to do is when a scene loads or when you start up the game I would like it to detect an external file that I placed in my published data folder. once its detected the file to then toggle render my gameobject to show. I have been trying for a long time and my coding just isnt good enough to do this. I saw that I might have to use system.IO File.Exists But that is some next level coding that I just cant rap my head around. Can someone please help me.

  10. Hey guys. Since there are no maps out there for testing purposes, and everyone who has the appropriate skill set to design maps keep them for themselves and shows them off in the 'showcase' section, I am here to release my own personal multi-player testing map for everyone to use! Aren't I so nice? I know how much of a struggle it may be to design a map, and a well functioning one at that matter. Without further ado, here you go! Link (131.5MB): https://mega.co.nz/#!shAjETDR!FAtCmAt17T7IKZxsZEpVEHIiQi5lDycO9y8FNi3Pbss Credits: 1.) Nobiax - Textures/models 2.) OneManArmy - Gave me inspiration from PFPS Kit arena map Enjoy guys, and as always, have a good one! [screenshots of Developer Arena]
  11. What I mean is you start up the game, there's your menu, and when you hit play it asks which difficulty you want. If you choose easy, there's barely any monsters in the game. But if you choose HARD then there's more then you can count. So, how do you choose things across scenes? I guess? Or another example, you choose where to spawn on a map before the map itself loads. I wouldn't want to load a different scene for each choice, so how would I do this? Thanks guys.
  12. Basically, my scene works like this - Player is at welcome screen (photo 1) And when the player presses the [spacebar], the next scene loads the Main Menu (photo 2) The space bar script is - function Update() { if(Input.GetButton("Jump")){ Application.LoadLevel("1. Menu 2"); } } My question, can someone please make a script where when the space bar button is pressed, the scene fades out and fades into the main menu? Thank you so much!!
  13. Hey Guys like the topic says I need a 3D Modeller for my Game who can make me like one or two levels for the beginning because I´m making a FPS Shooter called CubicZombies where you have to kill Zombies and survive as long as you can. The Levels should be like in the game PixlGun for Android https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.P3D.Pixlgun&hl=de that inspired me to make a little Game thats a littlebit similar to it but with other levels e.t.c. So if you would like to help me it would be AWESOME but pls remember that I won´t sell the game so I can not pay you helping me is only voluntarily but it would make me very happy if somebody would answer me or send me a level!!! ByTheWay here are some pictures how my game looks like at the moment: http://imgur.com/t5UZBgY http://imgur.com/C7u55te
  14. This is a very very simple Script and just an example for a Restart Level Script because im new in Scripting and Im trying my best but I just had the Idea and I wanted to share it with you who really can not script. Just add this Script to the Maincamera of the Player and if you start the Scene there will appear a Button in the Left corner. I am talking to much here is the Script : function OnGUI () { if (GUI.Button (Rect(0, 25, 100, 50),"Restart Game")) { Application.LoadLevel(Application.loadedLevel); } }
  15. Hey there folks! This is my first need help: How would you able to make Unity to remember what scene/level you were in? For example: let's say I have about 5-8 levels and when I quit the game it has to then remember on what scene I were in. I was thinking on running with booleans and put a bool on every level and it ticks on and off on certain levels? Help please :/ pretty confused :S
