  1. Hello, When yesterday I opened my Unity3d 5.6.1 then it showed a weird thing. I am getting following error: Below is the image of weird Unity I hope here i can get my solution. It worked fine before but now it shows error. When I tried opening Light setting. It showed my white dialog box. I even tried installing and reinstalling of Unity. Any idea and suggestion solution appreciated here. thanks!

  4. hey i'm a noob but know the basics of C# and i only got Unity free. i'm working on a school project and we got no idea what we are doing mostly, anyway i'm trying to make a security camera in the game that shows another location in the level on a monitor, kind of like this the sits at the desk and has 5 monitors below him that show other areas of the level. now i can get the textures to render on a plane but i cant assign the texture to a specific camera so it only shows the player cam. me and my friends are willing to learn because we need this script because its a major part, any suggestions are welcome even if it requires a different script. this is where i found the script but i have no idea what it does really. http://pastebin.com/Qvw01kcM

Hey armedunity! i was working on my fps game's HUD and i had to choose between the render mode in the canvas this is my first time using the new UI system so i dunno what to choose Screen space overlay or Screen space camera and if its the camera one , i have to add the controller camera or the gun camera ?     Detect File

    Hi Everyone I wsa hoping someone could help me with some script. What I would like to do is when a scene loads or when you start up the game I would like it to detect an external file that I placed in my published data folder. once its detected the file to then toggle render my gameobject to show. I have been trying for a long time and my coding just isnt good enough to do this. I saw that I might have to use system.IO File.Exists But that is some next level coding that I just cant rap my head around. Can someone please help me.

  8. hey..everybody . i am working on lighting skills in unity and i have reached this ..i have Nvidia Gforce 8400 gs DX 10 GPU SPECIAL THANKS Willy for shader car paint shader please tell me if i have made some mistakes..i tried to get that specular but i couldn't also how did willy made the floor reflective..like glass..i tried reflective and specular shaders but didn't work LIGHTMAPPED UNLIGHTMAPPED

    Rendering path

    guys i have a question , why the Forward rendering path does not support shadows but it have better quality results, and Deferred Lighting support shadows but the quality is poor .. look what i mean [spoiler=Forward] [spoiler=Deferred Lighting] Look how smooth is the forward... what to do ?
