  1. Here is my main menu concept of my upcoming game, any advice or opinions?
  2. Version 1.0

    This package will install everything you need to have a functional game start it does this by having 4 scenes that you edit (PDF instructions included for help), these being - Menu - Intro - Loading Screen - Wilderness (You replace with your main level) Menu is pretty simple but good, Play texture normal then a hover version same for exit Intro shows your logos (Default 3) with a fly in animation, found in the animation folder Loading Screen shows a circle rotating smoothly for 8 seconds before loading main level. Wilderness is a simple terrain that you will replace with your main level instead. MAKE SURE TO CHANGE LEVEL NAME IN LOADING SCREEN TO MATCH YOUR SCENE NAME. Video: Any further questions go to extragaming123@gmail.com Thank you for downloading / giving it some thought. LEGAL NOTES: I did not make the loading effect, it can be downloaded here: http://armedunity.com/files/file/41-loading-effect/ The loading screen is an effect and doesnt load anything you will have to make that happen yourself! This can be used in both commercial and non commercial games without any fuss! Please subscribe to my youtube channel here: ExtraGaming

  5. Hi! This is a mix of a showcase and a celebration. A: This is a showcase of my menu creation system which I have been working on for a little while now. B: I am celebrating because I just got accepted into the Asset Store for the first time! The name of the asset is UltimateMenus. UltimateMenus is a menu system that allows you to create main and pause menus very easily out of the box. And it's free. I'd appreciate some feedback on the asset, maybe some suggestions about how to improve ans expand it, although I understand if you wouldn't want to. Thank you!
  6. I'm still learning Script (DropBox Link) Script provided was not written by me its a free script from Unity.Wiki site. The script is in C# script works both 2d and 3d menu's. What I did for a 2D Menu Have Camera Lighting Canvas - On canvas right click -> UI -> Button You have now created you're first button!. Repeat as many times you want for more buttons. Each button uses Sprites. To convert image on unity to a sprite image, click the image and on drop-down choose sprites. with the sprites you can now change the button shape. 8. Hello guys, a couple of days ago, I pause my game development since I stacked in the main menu design. So guys I searched for software that can create easily menu for unity, but I didn’t find. So I decide to develop one myself and also to release it! My software is named: Unity 3D – Menu Designer, and have the following features: First of all and in my opinion the most important is the Drag & Drop Function that allows you to design your menu faster and easier! Second is the ability to resize the controls using (A,D,S,W) keys One more and with significant meaning is the Live Debugger* Next one is the ability to export the menu and auto-generate the code in both JavaScript and C Sharp (C#) Create easily buttons, labels, boxes, textboxes, textareas and more and customize them without a single line of code! Finally I also spend quite a lot time to create detailed help menu in order to understand everything and create an amazing menu for your game! I will finish and publish the software within the next week! Stay tuned and please comment bellow [*Live Debugger = you can drag and drop, resize, change the properties of the controls and watch the result at the same time!] //Update i keep working on this , it may take some time since there are a lot of things i need to add. Untill now : Editor : Live Debugger : Updater : ~~ d Version 1 : Beta Not Ready : Screen.Width , Screen.Height functions C# Exporter Labels CAN'T resized by ASDW keys (due to bug) Save / Load Editable Format Download Link : http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?3aywdltg34lj9wu

    Menu rotation

    Here is my script using UnityEngine; using System.Collections; public class BgEffect : MonoBehaviour { private float mousex; private float mousey; public Transform BG; // Update is called once per frame void Update () { mousex = Screen.width / 2 - Input.mousePosition.x; mousey = Screen.height / 2 - Input.mousePosition.y; // if (mousex < 0) { BG.Rotate(Vector3.forward * 0.05F); } else if (mousex > 0) { BG.Rotate(Vector3.back * 0.05F); } if (mousey < 0) { BG.Rotate(Vector3.left * 0.05F); } else if (mousey > 0) { BG.Rotate(Vector3.right * 0.05F); } } void OnGUI() { GUI.Label(new Rect(0, 0, 100, 20), "" + mousex); GUI.Label(new Rect(0, 50, 100, 20), "" + mousey); } } i want to stop to make it restore defaults when you place the mouse near the center and also i want to make the rotation stop after a default rotation because now it would rotate for always!
