  2. Hey, I am currently making a day / night cycle and I have almost finished all the logic for it, I am reworking the rotation for the system and I've run into a problem that I can't seem to wrap my head around. For the rotation of the system I currently use this piece of code: C# using UnityEngine; using System; public class DayNightCycle : MonoBehaviour { public float cycleDegreesX ; //The rotation of the day night cycle on the X axis public float speed = 2.25F ; //The speed of time progression void Update() { //Cycle in degrees (from 0 - 360) float cycleAngle = speed * Time.deltaTime; cycleDegreesX = (cycleDegreesX + cycleAngle) % 360; //Rotation transform.Rotate ( Vector3.right * cycleAngle ); } } What I've been trying to do is have two forms of rotation. Game Time and World Time. In Game Time I was attempting to make the system rotate using 4 variables, seconds, minutes, hours, and days, to display the time in the inspector in 24 hour, I don't really want to output the time to the GUI. With World Time I was going to attempt to rotate the system in accordance to the system time on the users computer. In both cases I don't really know where to begin a part from making the variables. Is anyone here able to help with this? if so, thanks!

    Day/Night cycle

Hey I found this its a day and night cycle script! Sorry for no screenshots its 12:00am here and I'm on my ipad Download: http://forum.unity3d.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=35084&d=1338165763 Info: Just a simple script that can simulate a day/night cycle. it can be attached to any gameobject and will still work so long as the objects in the inspector are specified. The test scene with the script. You can change the "Day Length" variable in the inspector to make the days longer or shorter.
