  2. Turns out all i had to do was add if (photonView.isMine) { to a part of my script. Thankyou everyone for the support!!

Code I use: [PunRPC] void Footstep () { GetComponent<AudioSource>().PlayOneShot(footsteps[footsteptochoose]); print("footstep"); } I assume it should just play the sound off the player object for all clients...not sure, i'll have another play around with the hierarchy settings.. post if it works..!

Heyy guys, so im working on my multiplayer fps project...i Im trying to add third person footsteps and gunfire audios...but, when i send an RPC (on the player object)...i expect it to work... but it doesnt matter where i stand, its the same volume level... Am i doing this wrong? It seems like it should play the audio, using the audio source on the player...just cant get it to work..can anyone help? ? Thanks in advance!
  6. Hey guys, i just finished a really quick youtube tutorial series, based upon creating your very own website. We program it from scratch, then upload it to an online domain & go through customising & adding different features. Tutorials go for about 10 minutes all together, then you have a fully functional website of your own! Thanks for taking an interest, hope yous get something from it & enjoy!

    Hey everyone, im trying to use this bit of code to position my players spine... It should work, having the z axis = my int...But is just snaps the x & z axis's to 90... Anyone know why this would be happening?   13. Hey guys, is there a way to make code override an animation with model rotation? I want to move the pelvis/spine, which is controlled by an animation, and i want to hook it up to my mouselook script...Yet still want the anim to be moving....Not sure how they get this to work in games, would love some advice...thanks guys! (Trying to get my third person character to be able to look up and down)

  16. Personally, i was playing Halo Reach, and i was so touched by the storyline...taken on such an emotional journey...that I decided i wanted to re-create this experience for other people. Try and effect there lives as much as halo reach effected me...I loved it that much... + spent most of my youth playing video games, so i thought...lets do it myself, lets inspire minds and change lives... 5 Years later, loving it.

Hey guys, im trying to make my game...just added a new player, and am trying to get the animations to work....I have an error finding the animation, and unity suggests turning the animations on legacy mode...when i go to the debug mode to select legacy though, the options are faded out, unclickable...anyone know how to fix this?? Thankyou. (screenshot added with problems)

  21. Hey guys, im using photon networking services...im trying to do a really basic RPC call, but the code isnt picking up the function...would anyone have any idea on how to get this to work? Whether i need to do something special? I've got the tag, but its not happening..(screenshot provided) (P.S have also added public to the variable with no effect)
