  1. Need Help For My 1st FPS Game In Unity

    If you're going to make an FPS game, trust me on this I've been down this road, use the Unity provided Rigidbody FPS Controller make sure it's the rigidbody and use a full body model from mixamo.com and there are animations included there, and make a fully animated (FULL BODY) FPS controller not just the arms since it's kinda stupid just to have the arms.

And to make damage to players I'm assuming you would go to the function where the raycast shoot is called and you would make a maxHealth float variable and assign it to 100 or whatever you want and make a currentHealth float variable that is set to 100 or whatever you want, and you also want to make a damage float variable for each weapon so you would be able to apply the amount of the weapon does to the player. Down in the raycast shoot function I would say you put: currentHealth = maxHealth - damage; Im not precisely sure I haven't even seen the code, but if you have the files please share a link with me I need this asset, reply back please.

  11. Hey I was on your inventory system topic, I get that it's very old, I've commented quite a few times, just how could you actually hold the weapon I've tried everything, please be as specific as possible, and if you could cite some code.

    speaking of picking up objects, it works and all its says the item is selected, but could you share some code on how we could hold the items in our hands, like i tried everything, I know about the gameObject.SetActive(true); but could you share where I should put the code to hold items. thanks.

    Hey dude, I've been trying to SetActive a gameobject thats tagged under my FPSController but it wont work, like how do you make the objects appear on screen when you select the item from your inventory slot?
