About Powelus's Audio Visualizer allows any person to customize visualizer to their own experience. The software has the capability to load local MP3 files and display audio spectrum during real-time playback.     Compiler error

    It was already at .net 2.0 subset, but saw that net 3.5 was deprecated so switched it to 4.x, now it works Thanks for suggestion, it didnt work but made me see what was wrong.. again havent used unity in a long time
  5. Cities skylines who is such a complex and content filled game is also made in unity. Engine doesn't mean anything. I mean look at valve and their source engine games. They all contain closed areas because engine is designed to have rooms, even outside areas are rooms. Then look what Respawn did with source engine. Titanfall 2 is still a stunning game and apex is open just like any unreal engine game. It's all about the developer how they execute the idea. Unity engine has evolved way too much since I started using it. The features they brought are up to standards. And its not from epic games, who are in eyes of whole gaming community for having bad business decisions. And unity ain't owned by tencent.

    Hello, I've finally got back into development and opened 2-year-old unity project and tried to compile it. But I constantly get this error: Any clue how to fix this? I'm clueless
  7. Hello everyone. I have been silent recently mostly because I was working, now that I am unemployed I have all the time to continue working on my project. I am 21 years old, from a small country in central Europe. Finished high school for electric engineering, and bailed on a college because it was waste of money and time. Anyway I hit a roadblock. I cannot do everything by myself. I did come up with a story, which for everyone who is interested will be fully explained. Gameplay is not there yet, I am struggling to make it work. Graphics should not be a problem, that's the last thing I would worry about. But in short I am working on a first person game, which is not a shooter, but it's an puzzle game (i.e Talos Principle). Backstory is 3 pages long for now, which does not even include actual events of the game. Art style would be minimal without heavy use of textures (maybe here and there just for normal maps). It will rely solely on flat colors and lighting. My previous work is kinda slim. I did work on games before, none of them saw the light as I thought they were not as good. I did make visualizer in unity that loads mp3 files from folder that you specify and plays them in functioning music player with visualizer (pic related) For this particular project I do not have progress, but I am here to make one. Who I am looking for is: 3D artist who can work on interior and exterior design (and that can unwrap UI maps) 2D artist for concept art Adult male/female voice actor (i'm lucky if anyone turns up) My role in this: Storywriting, C# programming, level design and music. So if you can fulfill any of those that I don't have to do them, I'd be happy to accept you. If you cannot do any of those but believe you can help with the project, feel free to contact me. I can probably arrange something. Payment: Sadly, I have to tell you that this would be voluntary work. I in no means can promise you success of this project and payment.   8. Maybe add raycast pointing underneath helicopter. So when there is certain distance helicopter will behave differently and hover accordingly. Just an idea that might work. Also an trigger at rendezvous which would make helicopter to slow down when approaching point a or b

  12. Easy procedure: Look at error, copy the error, CTRL+F, paste it, boom found
  13. You should add some branches on the tree with more leaves and stretch vertices differently. Make those edges visible, don't be scared xD Like this
