  1. Okay, I was able to do something that was easier, I made each room a seperate object and then added a box collider as a trigger to the room. When the player enters it puts it on a layer that is visible and when the player exits it goes back to a layer that is hidden. Now does anybody have any tips on making these rooms fade in and out before the layer is assigned?
  2. hey everybody, I have recently picked up an Isometric dungeon explorer. In the development of the first dungeon I have come to a problem that I just can't seem to wrap my head around. I would only like to show the room the character is in and hide everything on the outside of the room the player is in. I know you'd use a mask of some sort but I can't fully seem the grasp it. I have a visual example from that upcoming game 'Tunic' https://i.gyazo.com/e4e78f7ec369a44923171d971ce9cb64.mp4 How would I go about something like this. If the project I'm working on would be easier but I just have no idea. Thank you all in advance.
  3. I bought that asset, I am using it. I have already heavily modified it for saving and loading. The asset store is your friend if you use it right and there is nothing wrong with using as long as you use it as code base to build upon.
  4. yeah I sped up the moon for the video. That money and clips are just there for testing. Clips needs to go but the money is gonna stay until I make a GUI for the wallet.
  5. Hey everybody, I've been missing from the community for a while and I have a good reason. I do music production under the alias "Nodfather" and have been doing stuff with that over the past year and a half. I decided to combine my fan base and knowledge of music and the knowledge I have of game development and started this project. Janford County is an open world first person shooter where you work through different fields of the black market to survive. I have released some footage of the project that showcases some features. WARNING: The frame rate looks like dumpster juice because my OBS settings are terrible For anybody interested in joining the testing group you can join that on htttp://www.janfordcounty.com also if anyone needs music in their games and want a sample of my music I am on Spotify and iTunes. Just search Nodfather
  6. I am in, lets organize a convention every year after the initial release that is infested with socially crippled children
  7. That booty meat..... Fantastic work
  8. Haha thats what im going for with the inventory feel and visuals, but just imagine runescape and zelda having a baby; that is the goal.
  9. Each element (Physical and Metaphysical) will have a rune used in any point in the game.
  10. Yeah, Jumping around and trying new things is always a great way to improve skill. Something i've learned way to well **Cough*I procrastinate*Cough**
  11. The reason I put a "35" is so i had room to add more items in between, I can always just go back and reorganize the ItemDatabase. The number after the first string in the item.Add lines in my ItemDatabase are the Items ID's, I Changed the numbers that were 20,21,22, & 35 to 4,5,6, & 7 and the error went away. Thank you guys so much, and Good to see you on the forums OcularCash, it has been a while!
  12. The code calls for my item database and my blueprint class, Blueprint Class Code Hidden *PROBLEM SOLVED* ItemDatabase Code Hidden *PROBLEM SOLVED* On the tutorial, everything checks out to what the guy is writing, and it looks like it should work too, but I have no clue on how to fix this. Thank you @geckoo for your input
  13. I am following PiDi's Craft system tutorial (Link Here )and i've repeatedly ran into this problem. I have restarted the tutorial like 8 times and still run into this issue and can't figure it out. Full Error ArgumentOutOfRangeException: Argument is out of range. Parameter name: index System.Collections.Generic.List`1[Item].get_Item (Int32 index) (at /Users/builduser/buildslave/mono-runtime-and-classlibs/build/mcs/class/corlib/System.Collections.Generic/List.cs:633) BlueprintDatabase.Start () (at Assets/Inventory/Scripts/Crafting/BlueprintDatabase.cs:15) Code with error: Code Hidden *PROBLEM SOLVED* Can someone please shine some light onto this. It's really frustrating lmfao, thank you.
  14. Exactly what I was thinking, I spent hours playing that game mode as a child. I love the concept of this. I'll for sure download it and feel manly from the brutal destruction of a schoolbus
