  1. looks lite they are protected with password
  2. i can't help you without seeing these pictures (just 1-2 for example)
  3. public void OnGetMessages´╗┐(string channelName, string[] senders, object[] messages) { for (int i = 0; i < senders.Length; i++) { string msg = senders[i] + ": " + messages[i].ToString(); //You used zero instead of i DisplayMessage(msg); } }
  4. easiest way - scripted material/texture change and screenshot
  5. oh, looks like text formatter a bit broken
  6. Just use these arrays. public void OnGetMessages´╗┐(string channelName, string[] senders, object[] messages) { for (int i = 0; i < senders.Length; i++) { } Debug.LogFormat("Message from user {0}: {1}", senders, messages); } Sender with number '0' corresponds to message with number '0', sender with number '1' corresponds to message with number '1' and so on

  8. So, you want to make your new, original best multiplayer game, but you don't like Unet and don't want to write custom networking library. So, all you need is Photon! waiting for updating
  9. Hi! You can check some Tutorials: 1. For first you need to look at Photon PUN Intro - https://doc.photonengine.com/en-us/pun/current/getting-started/pun-intro 2. For next, look at official unity Tutorial(Look at part 2 and 3 too!) - https://unity3d.com/ru/learn/tutorials/topics/asset-store/merry-fragmas-multiplayer-fps-part-1
  10. Is it a camera effect? - No Does it involve the Line Renderer or Raycasting or Triggers? A combination of these? - Triggers How would Lerping be used? - Why? How would Unity's Joint components be involved here? - For rope physics I understand that the arm swing of the character would be animated in a program like Blender/3DSMax/Maya, but how is the hook's motion synchronized? - Use animation event I think in Unity it can be realisable like this: On the hook model attach rigidbody with detection trigger. Add the initial force to this hook When hook enters into collision, stop rigidbody and move the player to hook Rope can be created with Joints, or math function, but idk maybe there is another solution

  12. @YoungDeveloper This string is user-created and can't be made from the code. And also i have own code, but i don't think that it is efficient method string FormMessage(string message) { string clearedMessage = message; string pattern = @"{(.*?)}"; var matches = Regex.Matches(message, pattern); for (int i = 0; i < matches.Count; i++) { clearedMessage = clearedMessage.Replace(matches[i].Groups[1].Value, i.ToString()); } string[][] randStrings = new string[matches.Count][]; for (int i = 0; i < matches.Count; i++) { randStrings[i] = matches[i].Groups[1].Value.Split(new char[] {'|'}, StringSplitOptions.RemoveEmptyEntries); } System.Random rand = new Random(DateTime.Now.Millisecond); string[] randStrings2 = new string[randStrings.Length]; for (int r = 0; r < randStrings.Length; r++) { randStrings2[r] = randStrings[r][rand.Next(0, randStrings[r].Length)]; } return string.Format(clearedMessage, randStrings2 ); }
  13. I have a string. In this string i have "arrays" (words separated by '|') which is separated from text with figure brackets. How can i poick random string from this arrays and make a final string? Sample: I have this string: "Hello my name is {Henry|Michael|Vincent}! and i want to make this {game|omg wtf} look {harder|better|faster|stronger}!" And i want to have in output "Hello my name is Henry! and i want to make this omg wtf look better!"
  14. using System; using UnityEngine; [System.Serializable] public class PlayerInfo { public string name; public string xp; public string status; public static PlayerInfo[] FromString(string str) { var arr = str.Split(new char[] {'|'}, StringSplitOptions.RemoveEmptyEntries); var pInfo = new PlayerInfo[Mathf.FloorToInt(arr.Length / 4f)]; for (int i = 0; i < pInfo.Length; i++) { pInfo[i] = new PlayerInfo { name = arr[(i * 4) + 1].Remove(0, 5).Replace(" ", ""), xp = arr[(i * 4) + 2].Remove(0, 3).Replace(" ", ""), status = arr[(i * 4) + 3].Remove(0, 7).Replace(" ", "") }; } return pInfo; } } public class MyClass : MonoBehaviour { public PlayerInfo[] players; void Start() { players = PlayerInfo.FromString("|#1 |Name: Slicer |XP: 0 |Status: 0 |#2 |Name: Admin |XP: 0 |Status: 0"); } } And why not use JSON?
  15. use this #if UNITY_EDITOR using UnityEditor; #endif public class YourClass { #if UNITY_EDITOR //Editr code here #endif } it will exclude your editor code from build
