  1. The last part of the link: !pERlcjkbQreoEcmAk9q4s6oyfiAn5qPHy47G9cXYnmY
  2. The image effects are a standard asset that should have been downloaded when you installed Unity. Depending on if you selected it or not when you installed. . e If not, you can download the standard assets here: https://www.assetstore.unity3d.com/en/#!/content/32351 Here are some more free image effects if you want some more advanced ones: https://www.assetstore.unity3d.com/en/#!/content/51515
  3. Added another texture: Camo/apocalyptic skin.
  4. Hello game developers! I've been doing a lot of 3D modeling for practice and I figured I should give some to the community. Here is a little Super-Shorty shotgun. One of my favorite guns. License: You CAN publish a game using this commercially, you CAN modify the model or textures in any way to see fit. However, you CANNOT sell or distribute this model without my consent. If you wish to give it to someone send them the link to this post. 360 Giff: https://gyazo.com/56cca749f2ae88c7fb3eabab491ccf9f Some Animations I made (NOT INCLUDED): Model Info: 870 Faces, 1.0k vertices Texture info: All textures are 2048x2048, Material includes diffuse, normal map, metallic, occlusion, rough map. Also includes camo texture. Download: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2vPiBIX_4AAZEFudXhjeEZUN0k/view?usp=sharing Enjoy earthlings, there is more free stuff to come.
  5. No, you cannot maintain the exact smoothness of the high poly because the purpose of an edge is to give it shape. With less edges you have less shape. If you want to make the model look less choppy: Go into edit mode, Select everything by hitting A, Hit W, And find Shade Smooth in the drop down. Select that. https://gyazo.com/654eef18823034eee945c57270c3142e After that apply the modifier Edge_Split -> https://gyazo.com/02d28fe1b26d726b7854ff3d6fd862ea
  6. With a low poly model you cannot maintain all of the detail that the high poly does. If you want to keep as much of it as you can, you can manually reduce faces yourself (Very time consuming). I recommend baking the normal map off of that high poly and use it for the low poly. This will give you some good detail without even adding vertices. You also might want to set the faces to smooth, and then apply an Edge Split modifier. Well, hope some of that helped you.
  7. Hello game developers! I've been doing a lot of 3D modeling for practice and I figured I should give some to the community. Here is a little Bowie knife. License: You CAN publish a game using this commercially, you CAN modify the model or textures in any way to see need. However, you CANNOT sell or distribute this model in any case. If you wish to give it to someone send them the link to this post. 8. Might want to rig it up properly so you don't have this problem.
  9. If you are asking about the process of making the animation you can read about that here : https://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Blender_3D:_Noob_to_Pro/Basic_Animation/Keyframing_Introduction or watch some tutorials. If you are asking about the process of reloading a gun then I recommend you watch some animation references. Watch some gun videos, play some video games, MOST (Not all) guns reload the same way. Eject mag, insert mag, bolt. Once you get the basics of animation down, making it look good just comes down to practice and patience.
  10. I have done some research into this before one day when I was curious. Here is the page I read when I did some of that research. https://doc.photonengine.com/en/bolt/current/reference/photon-vs-bolt I think it honestly depends on what you really need from the networking but overall, I think I would go with Photon BOLT in this case, mostly because of the Bit and Lag compensation. That is just my opinion though, you are entitled to you're own.
  11. Ah, my bad. I just considered it a general term.
  12. Define "Game Designer". That a very broad term. Do you need programmers, 3d artists, actors, etc.
  13. Looks pretty good so far. Good job.
  14. This would not be interactive but I think it would look best if you animate it.
